She's got style.

She's got grace.

She's a lady.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

And her name is Kate.

I do not know the story of Kate as I bought her at an auction.
She is starting a new chapter in her life here in my home.
She came with the lovely blouse and I completed her look with bits and pieces from my stash.
I remade an old floor lamp for her stand. The stand will receive a makeover with paint when the weather cooperates.

Kate is so happy to meet you and I am so happy you came for a visit.

I think Kate came from the West. When she's not wearing lace, she's got a six shooter around her waist.

Kate is greast.....I love her!
I had a chance at a dress form in a thrift store and did not take it. I am kicking myself for not making that purchase! I will try not to let that happen again!
Have fun,

Hello Kate!!! Gwen and Bella Blue are happy to meet you. They love your lacey blouse! Let's go have some fun at the Ball!

I love that you made her some "feet" out of an old lampshade. How cool is that? And her lace bottomed so boho chic! The particular place where I go to country auctions has several out buildings. At one, just laying on the front porch, is the most gorgeous old Victorian dress mannequin. Oh she is fabulous. I feel so sorry for her. Every time I go to auction I ask Bucky, the auctioneer, if he will ever put her up for far...the answer is no.. sniff...sniff

She sure is a real lady. Oh no, now I'm going to have that song stuck in my head. Love the way you dressed up her pretty collar with lace. What a great idea to use an old floor lamp base.

Hi Cindy, My Penelope is partying over at The Polka Dot closet also. Sure hope she gets a chance to me your Kate. She is a real beauty! My form is not vintage. I have my eye on one at the Star Mill, but he's not quite ready to part with it yet. I will be patient. Unless I find one somewhere else. lol!
